Nikon announces new 300mm f/2.8 VR II lens and 2x teleconverter
Nikon Inc. has today announced a new 300mm f/2.8 telephoto lens with an improved version of the company's Vibration Reduction technology, as well as a new focus mode. Also announced is a new 2x AF-S teleconverter. The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/2.8G ED VR II lens employs the latest generation Vibration Reduction (VR II) technology to reduce the effects of camera shake - important at long focal lengths, or when shooting in low light.
