Sigma: Windows7 Compatibility Announcement

We would like to inform customers of the compatibility of our digital cameras and SIGMA Photo Pro Ver.3.5.2 when used with Microsofts new operating system, Windows 7. Digital cameras The SD14, DP1, DP1s and DP2 are recognized as a mass storage device. However the Sigma SD9 and SD10 cameras are not recognized when connected to a Windows 7 installed computer. There are no plans to release a firmware update for the compatibility in the future....

Silkypix updates released

Japan's Ichikawa Soft Laboratory has released the latest versions of itsSILKYPIX Developer Studio v4.0Raw processing software in both standard and Pro variants. The new releases finalize the previous Release Candidate version seen a little over a month ago, which added support for several Foveon image sensor-based digital cameras. SILKYPIX Developer Studio v4.0.27.2 and Developer Studio Pro v4.1.27.2 both add support for several Foveon X3 image sensor-based cameras from Sigma, including the SD14 digital SLR, as well as the DP1, DP1s and DP2 fixed-lens cameras....
